Using a liner the stump inset is materially different. Stump socket looks rather like a frame than socket, the abdominal area is open on the front side.
Socket consists of two parts, fixation is solved on the back side.
The force, which compress gluteal muscles gives the stability of the frame. The socket rather presses the hip bones than hip spine, it hangs on a thickened silicon above the hip crest, that makes this prosthesis comfortable.
